The costumes were amazing–yes, shirtless McHale is a favorite of mine, I can’t lie–and Abed and Troy were fabulous. As much as I’m over Chang, I’ve grown to absolutely love Dean Pelton this season, and I really enjoyed how they integrated him so fully into this storyline. He’s such a goofball, but he’s their goofball. His reaction to Jeff’s touch was so perfect, and the rave scene was hilarious, too.

The concept of the Greendale Seven also reminded me a little of Lost, enhanced by the guy from the air conditioning annex wearing a jumpsuit and being so disgruntled, plus Troy and Britta spying on the high security situation at Greendale. It was just shades of The Others. These were very broad strokes, of course, but it was there, at least to me.
