As Jerry Seinfeld put it, “I’m not offended as a Jew, I’m offended as a comedian.”

I realize by now it sounds like I have a rabid hatred for Family Guy, but I really don’t.  Heck, I’ve got a friend who records the episodes where H. Jon Benjamin appears.  I watch those episodes, because his character makes me laugh.

I think that’s a pretty good point, EJ.  Family Guy does sort of take on the role of bully.  But in it’s defense, so many different people get skewered, I believe the core audience gets it’s share.  And really, the Griffins and friends are examples of what a great family IS NOT.  And (and maybe I’m giving Seth MacFarlane too much credit here) isn’t that supposed to be the ironic thing about calling it Family Guy?
