I think that this falls into the category of the character doing an awful (but I have to admit, pretty fucking funny) thing, which they occasionally slip in there. I have more of a problem with many other attitudes on the show. I don’t think the show has a constant bias against 9/11 like certain other genders, I mean, things.

Similarly, I often feel like South Park is at its least funny when its used as a mouthpiece for Trey Parker’s Libertarian views.

Hate women and liberals on your own time! More 9/11 jokes and Butters-centered episodes! I watch this shit to be entertained. If I want to learn about people’s opinions, I know what channel McNeil/Lehrer is on.
