Will and Emma’s scenes were just right for me…short and sweet and leaving just enough hanging to keep me rooting for them. Although I was pretty sure they were going to pull a Rob Lowe and Mare Winningham from St. Elmo’s Fire when they were in Will’s bedroom folding his vest collection. You know the one—Billy was going off to New York to follow his dream, and sweet, virginal Wendy was by his side on his last night in D.C. He asked for a going away present, and, just like that, Wendy was innocent no more. I actually think that would have been sort of awesome, and maybe even upped the stakes of their relationship.
