Sue allowed the glee club to put together Jean’s memorial service because “Jean didn’t know a lot of people.” The idea was that that glee club would pull a crowd for this funeral. How very Sue! It was touching to see Sue lean on Will for support when she couldn’t finish reading her message at the memorial. (How is it this message was so beautifully written but the majority of the scripts these past eight months have been painful at best?) I thought these scenes were done fairly well, and I do wonder where this is going to take the character. In a perfect world, she would become less cartoonish, but this is the world of Glee so that probably won’t happen. She did end the episode by thanking Will for being a good friend. She even admitted to being a bit of a cold and heartless nutcase. Dare I have faith?!
