Santana version of “Songbird”, sung directly to Brittany, was touching and lovely, though I’m still very attached to Eva Cassidy’s version. Props to Naya Rivera for not simply covering that, since it’s a more recent rendition. She owned it.
Quinn and Finn’s duet on “I Don’t Want to Know” was a passable vocal performance, but the fun was all in how it was acted out. Corey is really starting to come into his own on both fronts, and I hope we can see Finn become a deeper, more interesting character soon. The actor is more than capable of playing that.
Rachel’s ‘Go Your Own Way”, with everyone singing along, was joyous. Lea Michelle knocked this one out of the park.
