Instead, Chris is making enemies everywhere. He’s operating in cloud of delusion thinking he was ever “in control”, he’s calling Kalon (Luxury Brand Guy) a liar while completely forgetting what he did to Blakeley and Jamie, and he was sitting on a couch with his hood pulled up over his head and pouting. Sorta like last week when he crawled in bed and pulled the covers over his head and pretty much said, “I’m never coming out of my room …ever!”

And you’d think he should be wildly embarrassed by what’s going on, but he’s one of those types who can rationalize and forgive himself for pretty much anything he does because, hey, he’s Chris and Chris is the greatest guy Chris knows. He’s like, say, a politician who says horrible things about rape and then won’t really apologize or retract anything. That’s Chris. Luckily, he’s only talking about loyalty on a show about pretty people in a mansion, but still …you get my point. Most of us normal people walk around and, from time to time, we screw up, and when we do, we apologize. We learn from our mistakes. We see life as a series of events and learning experiences. But Chris (and certain politicians from Missouri) see life as a series of lessons they can teach everyone else. For Chris, and people like him, the fact that Kalon deceived him and Blakeley got angry with him are things they’ll have to deal with and he’s most angry they Kalon and Blakeley didn’t do everything he said and agree with everything he thought. For Chris it’s, “what’s wrong with those two?” For most of us, and Stags is a good example of this, it’s, “hmmmm, how can I make sure that doesn’t happen again next time.”

One Response to Bachelor Pad, Episode 6 (Stags’s Plan Backfires)

  1. Corbyn says:

Chris: he seems to be the bane of everyone’s existence right now. He’s not sure if he’s coming or going. I totally agree with you that Chris rationalizes everything and somehow he just shrugs it off. This really was the defining episode this season and I made sure that my Hopper is all set to go with PrimeTime Anytime. That way I don’t have to worry about missing anything on ABC for the rest of the season. A Dish co-worker explained how it works and now I’m hooked. Chris can’t see the forest for the trees and he’s just traipsing around thinking that everyone thinks he’s the best just like he does. I think it’s high time he got a wake up call.
