Previously on Dancing with the Stars: The Trio Dance round turned out to be the best thing ever. The judges were mostly in good moods, the dances were fun, and it was a heck of a show. Maria and Melissa had a little bit of drama in their rehearsal footage, but mostly everybody was perfectly functional and normal. Isn’t it nice when that happens? The top and bottom scores are separated by only six points, which is kind of crazy on a night with two dances.
But tonight, DWTS brings us a double elimination. And also a performance by Chris Brown, who ABC really keeps trying to force on us. One would think that smacking one’s girlfriend around on a semi-regular basis would be enough to get a Disney company to maybe stop putting said offender on live TV. And yet, here we are. I seem to remember Tom Bergeron complaining about it last time he was on the show, but I could be wrong. (Not on-air, of course.)
