Sonos – The blond guy in this group used to sing with Sara B. in college, so knowing that, though I might’ve voted them off in favor of the group of African refugees, there was no way in hell Sara wasn’t going to be allowed to save her friend at least for another week.

Soul’d Out – This was the high-school group and Ben Folds said the second half of their performance went downhill and fell apart, but I didn’t hear it. Ben Folds is a little too technical about this whole thing. He failed to notice the lead vocalist sort of looks like a slightly less handsome Zac Efron and slightly better looking Clay Aiken. And these kids Tweet and Facebook and have fresh faces so even if they need work, keep them on. One, you might get some younger viewers (or any viewers) and at least their parents and schoolmates will be watching. And finally, if reality singing shows have taught us anything, singing kids are better than singing old people.
