Afro-Blue – The group from Howard University was barely trying and was amazing. Quit toying the rest of the groups, Afro-Blue. I know you’re trying to make everyone feel nice and like they have a shot …but come on. Blow me away.

Kinfolk9 – Here’s a buncha singers in their late 20s and early 30s and I was taken in by the backstory of their featured male vocalist. He lives with his wife and two kids in his friends garage. Yes, his friend converted a garage into a 1 bedroom studio apartment or something. Seems weird, but they showed his kids and he seemed like this was his last, best hope of ever being able to support them, so luckily he sang awesomely and the judges wanted to see more of this group.

Yeah, Delilah was awesome, and adorable to boot. I liked both of the college groups that performed, although I could have done without the whole “Mormons can still date! And also kiss!” pre-roll package.

And, FYI, Chuck was NOT cancelled, rather it was moved to Friday for a fifth and pre-determined final season.
