Sorry about the delay in this recap – due to technical problems with the ol’ DVR, I had to get this episode on iTunes. But now we’ve got things up and running, just in time for the two-hour season finale. I’ll get that beast recapped for you next week. Now, it’s time for Webb Porter, who is, as we’ve come to expect from Alcatraz, totally creepy.
We begin in Chinatown, where Emerson Hauser is walking with purpose. Hurley follows at a distance, tailing him. Emerson buzzes into a building where a harsh-looking woman gives him a handful of pills, and he assures her that he wasn’t always this way. She then cracks his back with a sound effect that is maybe a bit too harsh and instead sounds like she murdered him.
