Hi all!

Remember all the great shows that started last week? Well, add Fargo and Silicon Valley to the mix and freaking settle in for some TV watching! Also, I’m getting this done late on Sunday night, so I don’t have time for more introduction. Time is of the essence!

Here’s what to watch on TV this week!

8-10 Dancing with the Stars – The couples dance to songs from Disney movies but probably not the crab song from Moana, which is a real pity. Also a pity? Mr. T was eliminated. I rediscovered my fandom only to have him taken away from me.

10-11:10 Better Call Saul – Jimmy and Kim hire an assistant and Mike seeks out a mysterious acquaintance. Also, looks like we’ve got some Gus Fring this week! Which I just now mistyped as “Gus Frink” and somebody needs to draw that for me.

10:30-11 Angie Tribeca – Angie heads to New Orleans on a hunch, but not everything is as it seems. OK, I think “but not everything is as it seems” is going to be the repeated line this season. TBS, I love your crazy listings.

8-8:30 Brooklyn Nine-Nine – Jake and Rosa investigate a burglary on the set of a detective TV show. Oh, somebody’s going to be a consultant whether the TV show wants their services or not. And Nathan Fillion guest stars! My current favorite thing he’s ever done was that Rick and Morty bit where Rick took over the alien’s body so Fillion was doing Rick’s rhythms. It was great.

10-11 Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. – The truth about Fitz threatens to bring down SHIELD. More importantly, this week’s recap will be Larry Young’s 100th article for Spunkybean. Let’s all chip in for a cake!

10-11 The Americans – Paige becomes more enmeshed in her parents’ world while Philip and Elizabeth’s honeytraps take surprising turns. I honestly thought Archer invented that term, until I heard it in The Interview. That’s my history with honeytraps.

10-10:30 The Detour – Nate and Robin race from New York to Florida to get their kids because if there’s one thing the Parkers are good at, it’s traveling.

8-10 Survivor – In a two-hour episode, there’s a merge! And hopefully other stuff, since that takes like five minutes at the outside. And man, how about that tribal council last week? Two things that occurred to me – first, when Varner told everybody that Zeke is transgender, Probst says that he just revealed that to “millions of people”, only the show is actually complicit in that part. They choose what goes on TV, and it’s weird to pretend that they don’t.

10-11:30 FargoSEASON PREMIERE! Yeah! One of my favorites is back with a tale of sibling rivalry that escalates and brings chaos to a small Minnesota town. And both siblings are Ewan McGregor. I have tried to stay completely spoilee-free, so I have nothing more to say at this time.

10-10:30 Archer – Archer escapes from jail with the help of a deranged heiress and a jazz quartet. Their skills will definitely translate to a prison break! Also? The Prison Break revival could use a jazz quartet. And some sort of internal logic, but let’s not get into that.

10-11 Hap and Leonard: Mucho Mojo – SEASON FINALE! The investigation comes full circle and the guys seek revenge for past transgressions. It’s Hap and Leonard vs. Brian Dennehy, which is all I’ve really wanted all along.

8-9 MasterChef Junior – The kids team up in pairs to recreate a sushi dish, which combines two of my favorite challenges from this show – tag teams and replicating an existing dish. And since it’s sushi at least they have a starting point. I feel so bad whenever somebody just flat out starts with the wrong protein. I am very sensitive!

8:30-9 Powerless – Well, the listing for this week is the same as last week but last week’s episode didn’t match the listing. NBC could not care less about this show. Even with Green Fury / Fire as a recurring cast member! Also? I would totally accept that Danny Pudi’s Teddy is this world’s version of Ted Kord. Does anybody want to subscribe to my newsletter?

9-11 The Amazing Race – Two episodes tonight? What? That’s a lot of Racing! I hope Shamir’s testicles are OK!

9-10:05 Doctor Who – The Doctor and Bill find a distant planet populated by cute robots. They will almost definitely be murderous, right?

10:05-11:05 Class – I haven’t seen the first episode as I write this, but apparently there’s a character named “Ram”, which is weird.

11-11:30 Samurai Jack – Ashi encounters numerous people and places where Jack has changed the world for the better, which sounds like exactly the kind of story that will make me cry.

7:30-8:30 Bob’s Burgers – Two episodes! We’ve got Gene and Bob going to a laser show and Linda winning a dream weekend at the place where her favorite TV show is filmed. It’ll all be very good!

8:30-9 Making History – The gang is still stuck in 1920’s Chicago while Al Capone holds their time machine hostage. It’s weird how that plot could be used for like five shows right now, isn’t it?

9:30-10 The Last Man on Earth – The gang throws one huge celebration for Jasper encompassing every major holiday. Hee! At least Tandy won’t have to re-decorate his ghillie suit!

9-10 The Leftovers – Nora, back at work for the Department of Sudden Departure, travels to St. Louis to investigate a scam. I’m not ready for this show to end and I will be an absolute wreck.

10-10:30 Silicon ValleySEASON PREMIERE! The gang tries to find funding for their video chat app and Erlich faces resistance from Big head’s father. Meanwhile, Jack starts stepping on toes over at Hooli, which should be an absolute joy.

10:30-11 Veep – Selina attends the opening of a Presidential library (not hers) and Jonah learns how to rise in the political ranks. Bless his heart, he’s still out there trying!
