18.  It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia (FX) Sunny has aged better than most sitcoms – seven seasons in, and they’ve really refined what works about the show.  Well, “refined” is probably the wrong word.  This season refocused on the core group of main characters, and in fact, the best episode of the season (“CharDee MacDennis:  The Game of Games”) was nothing but the five leads in a room together.  And of course, the big joke of the season was the simplest one possible – Mac got really fat.  (And kudos to creator Rob McElhenney for committing to the bit and putting on fifty pounds between seasons.)  This season was mean and filthy, and that’s Sunny at its best.
