Who doesn’t love a good list?!  At spunkybean, we live for them.  So, here’s my take on the Top 20 of 2011.  Like EJ, I’m missing Mad Men and Lost, but not really loving The Office enough for it to even make the cut.  Interestingly, there were a lot of new shows that cracked my list, which is good news as far as I’m concerned.  Let’s get started with our list of what to watch on TV!

20. Two Broke GirlsI’m giving this show a lot of credit for the chemistry between its two leads, Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs.  That alone gets it on my list for the year.  Without their star power, it would just be a bunch of raunchy jokes strung together and not much more.  The original concept and pilot had tons of potential, and I feel like there’s still time for the show to live up to that with some serious retooling.  We need more character development where Dennings’ Max is concerned (why exactly is she so, so cynical?) and less of the stereotypical supporting cast at the diner.  Also, less jokes that involve private parts and bodily fluids.  Seriously; we get it.  You’re edgy.
